Speaking to people in Peckham - Saturday 23rd October 2010

With the Tories - backed by the Libdems - planning to cut benefits as well as police and schools - it is more important than ever that the Labour Party is out on the doorstep listening to local people's concerns and showing people we are on their side.

On Saturday I joined Labour Party supporters in Peckham. We spoke to residents on the Oliver Goldsmith's Estate, and people living on Marmont Road and Goldsmiths Road. We signed up new members, gave out leaflets and ensured that people knew how they can contact me and their local Labour Councillors.
