Today I spoke to the packed West Midlands Regional Labour Party Conference at Warwick University in Coventry. I congratulated the region on achieving a gain of 98 councillors across the region at the 2011 local elections and taking back control of North Warwickshire, Coventry and Stoke. I look forward to joining the MPs, MEP and activists to fight the 2012 local elections in May next year.
