Joined by my Welsh Government colleague John Griffiths, Minister for Culture and Sport and Assembly member for Newport East, we participated in a discussion with Sport Wales today.

We met with Sarah Powell, Chief Executive, Sport Wales and Helen Phillips, Chair of Welsh Gymnastics and Commonwealth Games Council Wales. We talked about the two key aspirations they have of getting every child hooked on sport for life and for Wales to be a nation of champions.

We also discussed the role of women on boards and increasing BME representation.
