Deputy Leader of the Labour Party Harriet Harman responding to Nick Clegg's interview in the Guardian this morning, said:

"What matters to the British people is not where the coalition discussions start but where they end up. While disagreements may mark the starting point, Lib Dem acquiescence marks the end point.


"The Lib Dems are exploited by the Tories as their fig leaf when they should be standing up for their principles and standing by their promises."
