The London Region Conference

On Saturday 14th November I gave a key note speech at the London Regional Labour Party Election Countdown event.

I was pleased to be able to speak at this important event as the London Labour Party comes together to plan for the crucial elections ahead of us.  The resounding victory in the Glasgow North East by election gives Labour momentum going into the General Election.  We are fighting back and most importantly we are fighting to win.

All around the country and in London we have seen the transformation because of Labour being in government, but the next election will not be about the past – it will be about the future.  And there is a clear choice between our optimistic vision of a better and fairer Britain and the pessimism of the other parties.
