On Friday 13th April, Harriet visited Sedgefield and Bishop Auckland to rally support for the upcoming local elections. Alongside Bishop Auckland MP Helen Goodman and the leader of Wear Valley District Council, Neil Stonehouse, Harriet expressed the importance of a partnership between Labour in Government and Labour councils.
