Last night I went to a reception hosted by Joan Ryan MP for Turkish Women in Britain. The event brought together members of the Turkish community in celebration of all that Turkish women contribute to our society. The event was well attended, and very lively - including a wonderful display of traditional Turkish music by the London Turkish Music Choir.
