On Tuesday 22nd October I tabled an Early Day Motion in Parliament on the detention of my constituent Kieron Bryan, a journalist who was arrested by Russian authorities whilst on board the Greenpeace ship 'Arctic Sunrise' on 19th September. I strongly believe that Kieron is not a criminal nor is he a threat to the Russian state, and I am urging the Russians to let him go. I hope all MPs will sign this Early Day Motion and help raise awareness of Kieron's plight.
