On Friday I visited the HM Naval Base Clyde, Faslane to meet the families of the base's service personnel with Kevan Jones MP, Under Secretary of State for Defence.
The families of our service personnel have always held things together at home, whether their loved ones are serving on ships or submarines around the world, away fighting in Afghanistan, or elsewhere.
I have been visiting Military Bases all around the UK to find out first-hand what unique problems families living on military bases face.
Military wives must have the chance to get training, work and childcare - like everyone else.
