Yesterday I met with Barbara Keeley MP for a tour of the new Media City in Salford. We met with Peter Salmon, BBC director North and Barbara Slater, BBC Sport Director to discuss the recent relocation of the BBC to the area. Following this I met with young apprentices at BBC North to talk about their apprenticeships and spoke with Ken Lee, HR Director of BBC North to see how the BBC is recruiting and training local new people.
