I would like to send my warmest wishes to Muslims in the UK at the start of Ramadan.
Ramadan is a special time of fasting, prayer and reflection and is marked by Muslims demonstrating their generosity towards people in need across the world and in the UK.
Many of them will have contributed to helping the people in the Horn of Africa who are suffering so terribly. I pay tribute to their generosity and also to the important work of Islamic Relief across the region.
