Over 100 people attended a special Women of the World Question Time event at the Southbank Centre to discuss key challenges affecting women in today’s society.
We had a good discussion followed by a Q & A session. The topics ranged from equal pay, maternity pay & leave, childcare as well as the importance of supporting each other as Women of the World.
Sarah Sands, Editor of the Evening Standard chaired the session and we were joined by Linda Jack, Chair of Liberal Left and member of the Liberal Democrats’ federal policy committee and Ruth Porter, a Conservative candidate and Head of Social & Economic Policy at the Policy Exchange. We were also joined by Jude Kelly, festival Director and Artistic Director of the Southbank Centre.
